From: Chris Bradley (personal capacity)
Subject: Use of mobile devices in the NHS

The NHS can’t win, can it.

Often accused of being old fashioned and techno-phobic they also get criticised if they use what is available.

The biggest worry is that there is no uniformity: it took me three months to get a data stick, because my old laptop can’t be encrypted, and I can’t connect my own smart phone to our system for security reasons, though they won’t supply one that I can.

Maybe they’re just afraid of negative press.
