NHS graduate scheme shortlisted for social media award

The NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme has been shortlisted for a public sector social media award, the NHS Leadership Academy has announced.

The scheme won in its category of the Social Media Graduate Recruitment Awards last year, and is shortlisted against organisations like the Civil Service Fast Stream, British Army and the European Commission.

The NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme uses social media to provide information about different career paths in the NHS, host Q&A sessions, live tweet events and describe the pre and post application process.

Rob Farace, programme lead at the NHS Leadership Academy, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for the award. There is some really great competition out there and it’s an honour to be included in the same category as them. The fact that we have been nominated on the back of student feedback makes it that extra bit special.”
