RCN appoints deputy president
The Royal College of Nursing has appointed Cecilia Anim as its deputy president. She took up office at the colleges AGM last week.
Commenting on her appointment, Cecilia Anim said: “I am so pleased to have been elected to this role by RCN members, and I am honoured to serve my fellow nurses. I look forward to using my time as Deputy President to speak up on their behalf.
“Nursing is a vital and rewarding career, and the RCN is in an excellent position to make the case for quality patient care and a safer working environment for nurses up and down the country.”
The RCN recently appointed its new president as well.
Cecilia Anim added: “I am looking forward to working with our President, Andrea Spyropoulos, and to using my experience and passion to make the case for nursing now and in the future.”
