Trust to use mosaic to overcome anxiety
Staff at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust have been using the art form of mosaic as a form of therapy which helps some patients to deal with their anxiety.
Patients and staff have completed a large group mosaic project, which was has been hung over the door of the ADRU service unit.
Dr David Veale, ADRU Consultant Psychiatrist: “I hope it provides inspiration for future group projects that combine both CBT and OT goals.
“The mosaic will continue provide words of encouragement for all those who live in the Longfield House Anxiety Disorders Residential Unit.”
