NHE supports Our Health Heroes Awards 2016 as official media partner

NHE is proud to announce that we’ve become the official media partner for the inaugural Our Health Heroes Awards 2016 – the UK’s only dedicated award scheme to celebrate the healthcare support workforce.

Organised by Skills for Health, National Skills Academy for Health and Unison, the awards recognise and promote the significant contribution the support workforce makes to the health sector.

There are two categories for this year’s awards: Clinical Support Worker of the Year 2016 and Operational Services Support Worker of the Year 2016.

The Our Health Heroes Awards 2016 cover all 12 Unison regions across the UK. Click here to check if your region is eligible.

Finalists for the two categories will be announced on 31 October, with the awards ceremony taking place on 29 November 2016 at the Unison Centre, London.

David Stevenson, editor of NHE, and a member of the judging panel for this year’s awards, said: “We are delighted to be the official media partner for this year’s Our Health Heroes Awards.

“The support workforce plays a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality patient care across the UK, so to be associated with these awards which recognise the efforts of so many fantastic people is a great opportunity and honour.”
