New RCN president to represent the college at the ‘highest level’ The newly elected president of the Royal College of Nursing, Andrea Spyropoulos, has made an impassioned speech to college’s AGM. Apparently speaking without a script, the president thanked her colleagues for all of their help in her election. The president said that she had never dreamed of reaching such a senior position and had been greatly impressed by the work of the RCN - saying that there was a lot more hard work to do in the ‘tough times ahead’. She said: "I'm really looking forward to representing the RCN and its members at the highest level." |
