A lighter touch
The new trial of ‘touchless’ technology in surgery could mark the start of a brilliant new way of working; quicker, easier and cleaner.
In a world in which we are immersed in smart technology that blurs the lines between virtual reality and our day-to-day lives, this is a logical step forward.
Primarily used for gaming, this could significantly improve the level of care surgeons can deliver and could lead the way to other advances in the same field.
Using gestures and voice is a much more intuitive approach to manipulating images. If we have the technology, why not use it?#
