Good luck Heston
The Independent reports that Heston Blumenthal is hoping to do for NHS meals what he did for Little Chef - by raising culinary standards.
In a Channel 4 programme imaginatively entitled Heston's Michelin Impossible, theaward winning chef will seek to improve the food on offer at five institutions including the NHS.
I wish him luck. A government initiative to improve hospital food which featured celebrity foodie Loyd Grosman was about as successful as England’s World Cup bid.
