Online help for medical students
In an effort to provide extra help to medical students, the General Medical Council has now begun to provide online help to aid their studies.
The programme is called Medical students: Professional values in Action and provides students with quizzes and case studies to test their knowledge on, as they are faced with a number of scenarios which might crop up in their day to day careers.
Drew Kinmond, Deputy Chair of the British Medical Association's Medical Students Committee, said: “This initiative is a very useful, engaging and entertaining way of communicating some of the principles and problems commonly faced by medical students in their training.
“I would encourage all medical students to take a look at the Medical students: Professional values in Action site and have a go.”
