A good start, but not enough
Whilst I am happy to see that the government has at least begun to address the need for cancer drugs with the confirmation of £200 million between 2011-2013, I still feel that more could be done.
Why is funding not being stripped from non-essential treatments and pumped into life saving activity?
I fail to see why so much public money is being pumped into treatments which don’t save lives when more money is need for those that do.
