A tricky one
Hmmm… it would appear the question which NICE has brought up over how best to serve young mothers is a hard one to answer.
These young mothers need the very best in treatment and support, considering that this age group can face a number of complications during pregnancy.
But it also raises the question of what kind of message the NHS is sending out to other young people in general about an early pregnancy. Do we want it to seem normal?
