Burnham and the Unison mob should leave governing to the real government
I think that someone needs to tell Andy Burnham that he is not health secretary anymore, because judging by his recent behaviour it seems that he is a little confused.
He seems to think that by backing Unison’s law suit against the government that he will become a champion of NHS workers, instead of just appearing like the second rate, self serving ‘Citizen Smith’ that he really is.
Having said that, if he did, then I would miss laughing at his blatant pandering to the leftwing contingent within the health service – his last King’s Fund speech was absolutely cringeworthy, as he told delegates that the NHS would always be the preferred provider.
Of course what he meant to say was that the delegates jobs (and therefore votes) were far more important to him than the care that they were actually delivering.
