Do patients really want your ‘fight’, Mr Burnham?
Whilst I agree that every important decision needs to be challenged to test its validity, I cannot see how patients will benefit from ‘the mother of all fights’ which Mr Burnham has promised?
Surely it would be better for NHS staff to concentrate on actually making people better?
And whilst Mr Burnham is willing to give you the time of day now, I reckon that if he were returned to power he would be slightly less accommodating. Although he has fashioned himself as a left of centre politician, given the chance he – like every other champagne socialist - would quickly reform the opinion that although we are all equal, he is more equal than the rest of us.
