Don't get your hopes up yet, Mr Prentis

Whilst I am sure that Mr Prentis and the rest of the unions are glad that their man has won the leadership race, I don't think the time for champagne has arrived for them just yet.

Although his election indicates a strong leftwing movement within the Labour Party, it does necessarily reflect the feeling of the electorate.

Mr Miliband will have to come up with a very convincing argument to win over many members of the public who now see that cuts need to made and that even the NHS needs to change the way it operates.
