Health informatics benchmarking workshops announced

A series of new workshops are now open to NHS employees, to provide education and networking opportunities and explore the implications for services arising from the reforms.

‘Get fit for the future, the integrated future – preparing to support the new NHS’, is designed for IT leads, service providers, strategic decision makers and CCGs.

Chaired by John Rayner, director of The Health Informatics Service (THIS), and held by Citadel Events, the workshops also include the following speakers: Phil Mason, programme manager at DH Informatics; Dr Mark Davies, executive medical director at the NHS Information Centre; Dr Shahid Ali, GP & clinical lead patients and intelligence directorate of the National Commissioning Board; Eddie Olla, director of Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service and Uwe Buddrus, managing director of HIMSS Analytics Europe.

Taunton, Somerset CCC, 22 November 2012

Birmingham, Town Hall, 28 November 2012

Leeds, Leeds United FC, 4 December 2012
