Let’s keep up this investment
It is good to see the Department of Health spending more money on young and disadvantaged parents.
However it has to make sure that it maintains funding in other areas and works to address the high number of trusts operating with a huge budget deficit.
The next few years are going to be very tight for all involved, so it is important to maintain funds in the appropriate areas.
There is no room in the NHS for waste.
