More resources for the elderly please
Along with cancer patients, the elderly also require more resources.
A recent report has shown that the amount of resources that they use had gone up by two thirds in the last ten years and this needs to be addressed by those holding the purse strings.
After all, we will all become elderly one day, so let’s begin looking after them now, whilst we still have time.
Perhaps more integrated working between the NHS and local authorities would be a good start?
