The aftershock
Well, here we are folks – the day of the Spending Review.
Whilst the NHS is to be ring-fenced, some have pointed out that cuts to other departments are likely to have an impact on the health service – especially any cuts to local government which could affect social care.
Although cuts do need to be made, we must all hope that Mr Osborne has made them in the right places.
Either way, he will face a fight from Unison, however.
