The threat of NHS strikes is nothing new
Searching back through the news archives on the internet, it becomes clear that the threat of NHS staff striking is certainly not anything new.
A long time before the economic crisis ripped Britain’s finances apart, NHS staff were threatening to strike over a number of issues – usually related to their pay.
In fact, it would appear that they have threatened to strike at least once every year since 2006.
So when the unions tell you it’s the bankers fault, remember they have been rehashing the same arguments over and over again for years.
