Who did Lansley consult about these reforms?
It struck me today that to formulate such a radical set of reforms for the NHS, surely Andrew Lansley must have consulted with a fair few doctors, clinicians and managers to have come up with his ideas in the first place.
So where are they all now? Every day it seems that another group within the NHS is questioning or down right opposing these reforms.
Is it perhaps a case of being careful about what you wish for – because if you tell a shadow health secretary that you want it, you actually might get it?
