Raise concerns over quality of care, RCN tells members

The Royal College of Nursing has told its members to keep raising concerns over the quality of care, if they are worried about standards dropping.

The college has provided a dedicated online reporting form and telephone services, where its members can report any conditions which they feel are not satisfactory.

Janet Davies, the RCN’s Director of Nursing and Service Delivery, said: “It is important that nursing staff raise concerns directly with their employer in the first instance.

“However, where they feel that their concerns have not been properly addressed, and where unsafe clinical practices are continuing, the RCN will step in and investigate."
