Inclusion is key
I was glad to see the government taking its responsibilities towards communicating with groups in society seriously and believe the latest guidance which it has issued on improving communication with the disabled community is a step in the right direction.
It is crucial that all groups have a voice in our society – this is the mark of a civilised society, of course.
However not enough has been done in the past, so it is good to see the new government living up to its responsibilities.
Everyone deserves a voice and to deliver that, you have to communicate effectively with people in the first place.
