Let’s sort social care out, and redress a very unfair imbalance
It often frustrates me to think that old people – many of whom have diligently served their country over many years – are being given less support than young, able bodied people who should be fending for themselves.
Why should those who can work be given more money than those who have already worked for many years and can no longer do so due to old age and often poor health.
Instead of cutting services to the elderly, the country should rebalance its benefits system, so that the extra cash can be used to help our senior citizens.
