Will the new nursing forum provide effective measures for improving patient care, particularly in terms of respect and dignity?
In order to combat past failings, the group is set to explore ways to secure proper care, despite working with shrinking budgets, the threat of redundancy and huge organisational restructuring.
Squeezed resources will mean the job of providing quality nursing is becoming more difficult, not less. While different ways of working, and certainly the mindset behind those approaches can radically affect the outcomes, there is only so much that can be done on pure strength of will.
