We need to improve, but also to support
Whilst there are many things wrong with the health service at the moment, there is also a lot of good.
Although there are many perceived injustices within the NHS, such as the story of a war veteran who has been denied nursing care, there are thousands of stories of where NHS have gone the extra mile for patients.
As we go into the weekend, we should take a moment to reflect on the hard which many of those staff will be doing whilst we enjoy ourselves over the next two days.
