The NHS and ‘supermarket business models’
Source: Chris Henig
Call me old-fashioned but I still believe in a free-at-the-point-of-delivery National (and for that read Public) Health Service available to all.
Nothing is free of course – the costs are covered through our income tax and this should ensure that people pay according to their capacity to pay.
By avoiding payments of their correct level of income tax, the rich are committing a moral crime against us all. There is no place for profit within the NHS that I wish we could have once again.
