Countess of Chester Hospital NHS FT plans £200m national framework

Through its Commercial Procurement Services, the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has outlined plans to award a multi-supplier national framework agreement for the supply of water retail services, with an estimated value excluding VAT of potentially £200m or more.

With a contract tender deadline of September 2, 2020 listed on the contract notice, the two-year framework agreement is set to begin in October 2020.

The agreement will be separated into two lots; Lot 1 covering the supply of water and waste water retail services in England and Wales and Lot 2 covering the supply of water and waste water retail services in Scotland.

Interested parties may submit tenders for one or both lots on the framework. Suppliers can express interest on the open opportunity contract notice by using the NHS Sourcing e-portal.

The contract notice has been marked as suitable for SME organisations, with further details of the contract available here.

Technical specification for the framework agreement can be accessed through an attachment, F070 SCHEDULE A, from the contract notice. Bidding documents are also available for both of the lots listed as part of the contract.

If your organisation wishes to supply to the NHS/Public sector, submit your details here and our team of experts will look at how best we can assist you.
