NOE CPC launching £300m employee health and wellbeing framework
The North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) has issued an open opportunity contract notice as it looks to establish a framework agreement for the provision of employee benefits for health, wealth and wellbeing.
An initial two-year agreement, with the option to extend twice by a further year, will look to begin shortly after the contract tender ends on September 21, 2020.
The framework agreement has an estimated value of up to £300m.
A maximum of eight suppliers are expected to be selected to make up the framework, with the ability to meet the requirements of the specification and provide eight mandatory core benefits:
- Childcare vouchers
- Car leasing scheme
- Technology and white goods scheme
- Cycle to work scheme
- Gym membership
- Financial wellbeing schemes, including access to affordable loans
- Leisure and retail discounts scheme, including e-gift cards and e-discount codes
- Employee assistance programme (EAP) additional benefits
A number of non-mandatory services are also detailed in the contract notice, including but not limited to an online cycle shop, total rewards statement, shared cost additional voluntary contribution schemes (SCAVCs), reward and recognition benefits, buying and selling of annual leave, holiday schemes and eyecare schemes.
Subject to NOE CPC approval, all member bodies of the organisation – and any new NOE CPC bodies who join during the duration of the framework – will be capable of accessing the agreement and the suppliers listed.
