National Cleaning Awards Gold Sponsor Announced

Embracing the spirit of care and commitment, Medirest, the  healthcare sector of Compass Group UK&I, once again confirms its support for The National MyCleaning Awards in partnership with NHS England, this time seizing the prestigious role of this year's Gold Sponsor.

Medirest works to build partnerships across the NHS creating positive environments, for those within a hospital setting. Medirest offers specialised services from the provision of nutritious meal choices, portering to keeping hospitals running through efficient logistics, security and cleaning.

In what promises to be a day of celebration, guests can anticipate hearing success stories from all corners of the UK. These stories showcase the pinnacle of excellence in our healthcare services, with a special focus on individuals deserving of extra acclaim, as selected by guest judges from NHS England.

Attendees will also be treated to a morning of education, featuring a keynote update on the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness by NHS England's Emma Brookes. The session will offer a wealth of valuable insights tailored for anyone working within Domestic Services. This includes a not-to-be-missed Q&A session open to all attendees, providing an opportunity to pose burning questions to a well-rounded panel of experts.

Expressing their support, Russell Blake Managing Director, Healthcare – Compass Group UK & Ireland said: “Domestic services play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of our hospitals, upholding required standards and preventing situations that could lead to infections. That's why, we at Medirest take immense pride in sponsoring the National MyCleaning Awards. It allows us to express our gratitude for this essential service at an event that spotlights  exceptional work with the highest recognition.”
