Procurement in NHS Trusts

National Health Executive hosted a virtual panel discussion back in September 2022, which focused on ‘Procurement in NHS Trusts’.

Procurement teams in NHS Trusts are key in supporting the delivery of quality care and ensuring the best value for money is achieved. However, healthcare organisations face great pressure with rapidly changing policies, higher expectations on efficiencies, and the overall increased demand for procurement.

This panel is an opportunity to hear insights from senior procurement thought professionals, share best practice and explore changes to day-to-day roles.

This panel discussion also provides suppliers to the NHS the importance of being aware of each Trust’s policy on procurement and account for value for money, quality, supply chain resilience, social value impact and sustainability amongst other things to be considered as a supplier.
