Creating environmentally-friendly, effective cleaning products

Vileda Professional have worked to build on their existing mechanical cleaning catalogue to incorporate solutions which are not just effective, but also contribute to a healthier planet too.

Demarcating the new series of products with the r mark, these new solutions have been engineered to provide the same “superior cleaning performance and durability” as the original virgin fibre products but from reused or environmentally-conscious materials.

For example, the r-MicroTuff Swift is made from 100% recycled polyester.

These products also offer further benefits as well, such as:

  • 100% microfibre mechanical cleaning power
  • Made from 100% recycled materials
  • 100% recyclable at end of life
  • Removes greasy finger marks and stubborn dirt without chemicals
  • Can be used on all kinds of surfaces
  • Suitable for the pre-prepared method as well as for bucket and spray wiping
  • Up to 99.99% virus removal from vinyl surfaces as tested at a 3rd party lab
  • High particle pick-up capacity
  • Absorbent, excellent spillage pick up capacity
  • Superior durability up to 500 washes
  • Nordic Swan Ecolabel awarded

Vileda have designed the new range of products through three core principles: Power, Performance, and Proud.

  • Power: Achieve microfibre cleaning power in combination with sustainability. 2 PET bottles, 0.5 l are re-used to create one r-MicroTuff Swift cloth without compromising on cleaning performance and durability.
  • Performance: This second-life microfibre leads to best-in-class cleaning results such as up to 99.99% removal of viruses. The leading cleaning efficiency is retained even when detergents are omitted.
  • Proud: The Vileda Professional r-MicroTuff Swift recycled cleaning cloth has been awarded the Nordic Swan Ecolabel which underlines that it is safe for the users and for the environment. Vileda Professional recycled cleaning cloths clean smarter and greener whilst adding highest value to your clients.

All of Vileda Professional’s sustainable products are marked with the “Love it Clean” label which underlines the company’s commitment to recycling, safety and cleaning efficiency.
