National Health Executive hosted a virtual panel discussion back in September 2022, which focused on ‘Procurement in Integrated Care Systems’.
Since the 1st of July 2022, Integrated Care Systems have been bringing transparency and a level of consistency to a previously fragmented network of providers within local/regional areas.
These new organisations have brought together procurement expertise from NHS providers, Social Care and Local Authorities and are an opportunity to enact a different, more collaborative way of working with a higher degree of flexibility.
During this panel, our expert speakers discussed the role ICSs play in NHS procurement, supplier engagement and wider ICS strategies.
