MyPorter and MyCleaning awards - nominations are open

MyPorter Awards & MyCleaning Awards nominations are open!

It’s the time of year again that everyone in Soft FM looks forward to:  the launch of the MyPorter Awards and MyCleaning Awards. The Awards are once more held proudly in association with NHSE. Last year, both awards were oversubscribed, and for 2026 we’re gearing up to make them bigger, more inspiring, and more far-reaching than ever.

The MyPorter and MyCleaning Awards continue to grow in reputation and reach, as the definitive platform for shining a spotlight on the unsung heroes of healthcare: the porters, domestics, audit teams, and support staff whose daily dedication ensures patients receive the care they deserve.

As always, nominations are open to individuals and teams in Portering and Domestic Services across any healthcare setting in the UK (whether NHS or private) and beyond. Importantly, you don’t need to be a MyPorter, MyCleaning or MyAudit user to enter.

The live awards will take place in February, across two days, and are expected to draw over 300 delegates from across the nation. Each day will start with a live conference featuring guest speakers including industry experts, NHS leaders, and innovators, offering in-depth insight, and networking opportunities. After lunch, finalists and winners will be celebrated in an awards ceremony like no other in the healthcare-calendar. It’s not just a celebration, it’s a chance for learning, recognition, and community building.

You can register your interest now to attend by joining the waiting list, here:

Sponsorship support is already strong, with partners demonstrating commitment to recognising healthcare support staff and will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The Awards judging panel will again include senior voices from throughout healthcare, ensuring the awards remain credible and meaningful, with the panellists set to be revealed at a later date.

With each year, the number and quality of nominations grow, making recognition more competitive and more prestigious.

Phil Shelley, Senior Operational Manager at NHS England, shared his thoughts on this year’s awards relaunch: “It’s a real pleasure to once again be part of these esteemed awards, which shine a spotlight on the incredible dedication of our Porters and Domestics across the country. Recognising their commitment and contribution is always an honour, and it’s been wonderful to see the awards grow each year and celebrate so many deserving winners in person.

James Berzins, newly appointed CEO at Globalview, said: “The MyPorter and MyCleaning Awards are an opportunity to elevate and celebrate the people often working behind the scenes, whose dedication supports patient experience and safety. In 2026, we want to shine an even brighter light on those involved than ever before. With more stories told, more winners celebrated, and more awareness raised about the essential part these teams play in patient care.”

It’s time to get involved: nominate now!
