NHS Trusts to Gain Access to Free Wellbeing Support Through Each Person

Each Person has launched a new initiative in a move to elevate employee wellbeing across the NHS. The scheme targets financial, physical, and mental wellbeing, offering a free Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) that provides comprehensive support to healthcare workers across the NHS.

Increasing Accessibility to Employee Wellbeing Support

A study by NHS Charities Together found that three in four NHS staff have struggled with their mental health in the last year. The EAP provides access to a 24/7 confidential helpline, counselling sessions, and legal and financial advice with no waiting list. The service also extends to offer tailored support for dependents, ensuring NHS staff receive a comprehensive wellbeing solution.

Delivering Meaningful Benefits at Lower Cost to the NHS

Each Person provides NHS Trusts with a wider range of employee benefits beyond mental health and counselling support. By aligning with the platform, NHS Trusts unlock a diverse range of benefits including, Cycle to Work, Electric Vehicle and Technology Salary Sacrifice schemes that make large purchases more affordable, and an intuitive tool to facilitate long service awards, employee rewards and recognition.

In addition to delivering perks for employees, Each Person also enables cost savings for employers. Through salary sacrifice schemes, NHS Trusts can reduce National Insurance and pension contributions. Higher employee participation can lead to increased financial returns for the Trust, while also supporting staff wellbeing and operational effectiveness. Issue No: 1 Issue Date: 09/06/2025

Each Person has launched the Salary Sacrifice Savings Calculator allowing organisations to estimate their potential savings. The tool is designed to provide a breakdown of income tax, National Insurance, and pension contribution savings associated with salary sacrifice schemes.
