Construction & Refurbishment within the health sector

National Health Executives hosted its last virtual event of the year, where we focused on NHS Estates and brought together a panel of inspirational speakers to discuss construction and refurbishment plans for the NHS.

With a £2.8bn investment, the Health Infrastructure Plan is now funding 40 new building projects, making it the largest construction and rejuvenation programme in a generation. This new strategy will upgrade the healthcare system and provide long-term benefits for all stakeholders.

This panel looked at what Estate leadership is doing to deliver these new facilities, the challenges they have faced along with their successes, how these buildings will ensure patients receive the highest quality of care possible, and how they will enable clinical staff to perform at their best.
